Dive Site Minerva Ledge at Havelock Island

Minerva Ledge

Minerva Ledge is too big to explore in just one dive, so we visit three different spots. The flat coral gardens are filled with schools of fusiliers, surgeonfish, and snappers. Turtles, moray eels, and giant groupers can often be seen hiding under the rocks. The edge of the ledge slopes down into deeper waters where you will find species like tunas, barracudas, and marbled stingrays. The strong currents also make it a great spot for drift diving.

Minerva offers stunning biodiversity, making it a favorite among divers exploring the Andamans. Along side its vibrant coral gardens, the ledge features dramtic underwater landscpaes that are ideal for photography. Seasonal sightings of manta rays and reef sharks at the deeper edges add to the excitement.
