Dive Site Tribe Gate at Havelock Island

Tribe Gate

Tribe Gate/ Oval reef consists of several smaller reefs surrounding a larger oval-shaped reef. The reef starts shallow at around 3 meters and slopes down to 15 meters. You can find schools of young pick-handle barracudas, two-spot snappers, and fusiliers swimming in this area. In the shallow listen for the large crushing sound of humphead parrotfish before spotting them. The reef is also home to octopuses, vibrant nudibranchs, and various types of anemonfish, adding to its colorful underwater life.

The reef offers a gentle slope, making it perfect for beginners and experienced divers alike. along with vibrant fish, the sandy patches are hotspots for sting rays and garden eels. The sites calm waters and rich biodiversity make it ideal for relaxed dives.
