The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course, ideal for those who want to learn to dive but are short on time or are not ready for the full Open Water certification. It covers essential dive theory and practical skills under the supervision of a PADI Professional, giving you the confidence and ability to dive safely at shallow depths. Upon certification, you’ll be qualified to dive under professional supervision to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet). It’s a great option for vacation divers or those planning to continue to full Open Water certification later

Process, Procedure, and Time Commitment

Step 1: PADI eLearning (3–5 hours) Begin with online learning at your own pace. This digital course includes interactive materials, videos, and quizzes covering. Basic dive theory. Safety procedures. Equipment overview. You can access it on your phone, tablet, or online or offline

Step 2: Confined Water Training (1 day) Next, you'll develop core diving skills in a confined water environment, such as a swimming pool. You’ll learn. Equipment setup and use. Buoyancy control. Communication signals. Basic problem-solving underwater

Step 3: Open Water Dives (1 day) Under the direct supervision of your instructor, you’ll complete two open water dives in the ocean. This is where you’ll apply what you’ve learned and gain real diving experience in a safe, controlled environment

Certification Requirement: Completion of eLearning and knowledge reviews. Mastery of basic scuba skills in confined water. Successful completion of 2 open water dives. Comfortable swimming ability and basic fitness

Total time commitment: The course can be completed in 2 to 3 days, depending on your pace and location. It’s a quick and convenient way to get started with scuba diving.
